Raventos i Blanc Article In this weekend's Wine column, Lettie Teague talks about Raventos i Blanc's recent move to establish the CONCA DEL RIU ANOIA region in Cava Seeks to Make a New Name for Itself.

As many of you know, Raventos i Blanc made a big announcement earlier this year that they were leaving the CAVA DO for the new “Conca del Riu Anoia” designation. Conca carries with it stricter requirements with regard to farming (organic & biodynamic practices only), winemaking (extended aging requirement of 18 months), and overall quality (indigenous varieties, estate fruit).
